cache server (Angleško)
Noun
A server that stores previously requested Web content. When the same content is requested later, the server either sends the cached content or acquires newer content, depending on the freshness of the cached content that is defined by cache directives. A cache server is frequently used to reduce the network traffic and the response time by serving the cached content, when appropriate.
