Database Tuning Advisor (Angleško)
Noun
A database engine that analyzes databases and makes recommendations for optimizing query performance. The Database Tuning Advisory troubleshoots the performance of a specific problem query, tunes a large set of queries across one or more databases, performs an exploratory what-if analysis of potential physical design changes, and manages storage space. Then, selects and creates an optimal set of indexes, indexed views, or table partitions without having an expert understanding of the database structure or the internals of SQL Server.
